~ A Holiday Feast! ~
Gavin J. Grant

We sorted through hundreds of seasonal cookbooks looking for the perfect dishes for a holiday feast and all this week we'll be posting our best finds. We couldn't decide exactly which way to go* so we're giving you the choice: traditional or...something else!

Each day, we'll post a recipe until, by the end of the week, we'll have assembled the instructions for a grand, delicious meal. You'll find the magic formulas for everything from soup to nuts (no, really)...and just in case the stress is getting to you, we'll post a couple of classic cocktail recipes, too! Come on by every day and see what we're cooking up for the holidays!

Recipes from the Microbreweries of AmericaMonday -- what a perfect way to start a feast: Curried Roasted Butternut Squash Soup from Recipes from the Microbreweries of America!

Straight UpBest American RecipesTuesday -- Since Wednesday's dishes aren't quite ready, these drinks (from Straight Up or On the Rocks) and this snack (from the Best American Recipes) will keep everyone happy for a while!

Italian Holiday CookingWednesday -- Something a touch different (from Italian Holiday Cooking)...and something a mite more traditional (from the Best American Recipes 2001 - 2002).

Off the ShelfThursday -- Get into a whole new way of cooking with a recipe from bestselling Australian chef Donna Hay's Off the Shelf: Cooking from the Pantry.

the New Taste of ChocolateFriday -- How about some dessert? We've gone all out and made two! Would you like yours rich and regular (from The New Taste of Chocolate), or upside down (from The Best American Recipes 2001 - 2002)? Or, do what we're going to do, and have a bit of both!
